What’s
up everyone! The show season is in full swing
and the shower of sparks dancing down the roadway
couldn’t be any sweeter. The busy month
of May took us around the mid west to catch the
hottest coverage from the finest events. To keep
you in touch with the 2003 Gauge Magazine Show
Tour, here’s a run down for the month of
June.
This
month Freelance Photographer Eric Stiles will
be attending Dropfest in Dale, WI on the weekend
of the 7 & 8 of June. The event will be held
at the Dale Town Hall, to bring you another exciting
event for 2003. For more information or directions

The
following weekend the tour makes its next stop
to Canfield, OH for ITB. The newly relocated event
now hosted by Properly Grounded will be held at
the Canfield Fairgrounds on the weekend of June
14-15. I will personally be attending the event
scoping the show grounds for one of our upcoming
covers for Gauge, be sure not to miss this event.

Cruising
into the next weekend we end up in Gulfport, MS
to attend Scrapin’ the Coast on the weekend
of June 21-22. This awesome event will be held
at the Gulfport Sportsplex, and is for sure to
bring a crowd. I will also be attending this event
to catch the excitement of the lifestyle, to bring
you the hottest show coverage Scrapin’ the
net.
Dragging through to the final stop of the month
of June is the ever popular Carlisle All Truck
Nationals. One of the largest truck events will
be held at the Carlisle Fairgrounds on the weekend
of June 27-29. For more information or directions

We
have another impressive issue for you this month.
Appearing on this months cover is Rob Robichaux
representing Negative Camber with his 1999 Chevy
Dually. The detail alone on this clean ass ride
is enough to keep you busy for hours…..taking
notes!
To
top off Robs masterpiece we bring you our beautiful
June Gauge Girl, CJ Andrews. Be sure to check
out her hot Gauge Girl layout and see if you can

Finally,
the show coverage you’ve been waiting for
is here! That’s right, Showfest hosted by
Assorted Miniatures in Greenville MS is with no
doubt one of the hottest shows of the year. The
show nearly tripled in participants this year.
The event was held at the Washington County Convention
Center on the weekend of May 17-18, 2003.
Freelance
Photographer Eric Stiles attended the Import Revolution
in Chicago, IL. The event was held at the McCormick’s
Place on April 12th; check it out to see some
of the hottest imports on the streets.
Lowrider
Magazine rolled through Indianapolis, IN for the
Lowrider Legends Tour 2003. Freelance Photographer
Eric Stiles had the pleasure of shooting this
event on 27th of April, at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Sweet
Temptations host of the Spring Bash 2003 had no
problem in filling the Great Plains Coliseum in
Lawton, OK. Photographer Jason Denny AKA “Hodgy”
caught all the action on the weekend of April
5-6. Be sure not to miss the impressive beer chugging
contest…. now that is the way to do it!
We’ve
put together an exciting line of featured vehicles
for you this month. Sean Mabe is representing
Kontradictions with his smooth “One Low
Hoe” 1996 Chevy Tahoe. Bobbie Jones laid
out her clean 1999 Eclipse for this awesome feature
shot by Photographer Michael McGill.
We are currently putting together a Gauge Team
Freelance, which is a program designed to allow
you, our readers, to be more involved with how
Gauge Magazine tics. Gauge Magazine has always
prided ourselves on being for the auto enthusiast
by the auto enthusiast, therefore we want die
hard photographers/enthusiasts to show off their
skills and give them the opportunity to have their
work published in a world renowned magazine. Gauge’s
2003 Show Tour Schedule is starting to get jammed
packed and we would like to bring the readers
as much coverage as possible, please if you are
