Last
month we left off with the Big Wood Project
headed to Discount Audio in Louisville,
KY. Their job, to build a display
vehicle that will sound awesome and highlight
every sponsors equipment for the SEMA
show . Progress has been tremendous
over at Discount Audio. Nathan Goff
and John Arnold have been
slamming every night building this totally
one off custom enclosure and amp rack. This
enclosure is off the hook!!! Molded
flames, Crazy
Angles, and Plexi-Glass
windows. With these guys behind the wheel
you should expect to see nothing short of
flawless.
There have been several sponsors that have
come on board since last month:
Dynamat
(www.dynamat.com) supplied
us with enough sound dampening
material to cover the entire project.
Deco
Tech (www.deco-tech.com) has
an awesome wood grain coating
that is covering the amplifiers and the
12 gallon Easy Street Air Tank. Make sure
to check out this site. They can cover anything
that can be submerged underwater. I am positive
that all fans of the Big Wood Project will
be left speechless after
seeing this trick modification.
Select Products (www.selectproducts.com)
has supplied all the necessary tools and
materials to build this one of a kind fiberglass
enclosure and amp rack.
Optima Battery (www.optimabatteries.com)
has supplied us with 4 yellow top
batteries to drive the Kicker Amps.
Awesome
Decals (www.awesomedecals.com)
will be supplying all the sponsor
logos with a special treatment
to the rear windows.
Our friends over at Vitek
Performance (www.vitekperformance.com)
have supplied us with a set of high
performance spark plug wires and
enough wire braid to cover
the entire engine compartment.
Phipps Rod and Custom Accessories, Inc.
has supplied the billet interior
door handles and accessory lights.
We are down to the 30 day countdown.
Troy Whitt and crew at
Kustom Koncepts are gearing
up to produce one bad ass, rod styled interior
in 30 days. We feel confident that Troy
and crew will pull this off with no problems.
Stay tuned until next month where we
will give you a few behind the scenes shots.
If you want to be one of the first to see
the Big Wood Project complete, you will
have to catch us on the front sidewalk
at the SEMA Show,Las Vegas, NV
