It’s
here….we are in the dead of show season
and I love it! Every weekend meeting
new people catching up with those
people you only get to see once a
year, it’s my favorite part of the
sport. The lifestyle is phenomenal;
the innovated and unique ideas people
have for their rides just step up
the caliper of the aftermarket automotive
industry. Everyone at Gauge would
like to solute those enthusiasts that
have really gone the extra mile this
year.
We start off this months issue with
staff photographer Toby Mosholder
getting his first cover shot published.
Toby had the pleasure of meeting up
with Tina Carter and David Caldwell
at Slammin and Jammin this past May.
Perfect sunlight, the beautiful Tina
and a totally radical Ford Ranger
are what made this photo shoot one
for the record books. Awesome Job,
Toby!!!
For the next feature this month we
caught up with Eric Chambers in Greenville,
Mississippi at Showfest. Bold colors,
radical body modifications and a full
interior is what grabbed our eyes
on this totally radical s-10. After
checking out Eric’s feature you will
understand why he is dominating the
wild s-10 class.
To wrap up the features for his month
we catch up with staff photographer
Jason Swinford and his 2004 Scion
XB. When the Scion XB was released
Jason knew that this vehicle was for
him. It took Jason a few weeks of
searching all over the country and
countless hours of work to build this
XB that has everyone in the country
playing catch up.
When it comes to a true mini truck
show who better to put it on than
Mini Truckin Magazine?!! On the weekend
of June 18 & 19, 2005 Mini Truckin
and Sport Truck magazine collaborated
and presented Havoc at the Louisville
Convention Center. WOW, what a top
notch show. An awesome faculty and
a dragging contest that lasted till
the sun went down are what made this
a truly unforgettable experience.
Make sure to scrap by the coverage
this month and experience what this
top notch show was all about. For
more info on Havoc check out http://www.minitruckinweb.com
For our next stop staff photographer
Smalls had the pleasure of spending
the weekend in the dirty south covering
countless hours of beautiful woman,
extreme show stoppers and scrappers
from across the nation at Scrapin
The Coast. Make sure to check out
his awesome coverage of one of the
fastest growing shows in the nation.

the coast check out http://www.scrapinthecoast.com
When it comes to true balls out power
there is nothing more exciting than
diesel drags and sled pulling. Staff
member Big Mike has the pleasure of
photographing the DHRA Diesel Nationals
at Indianapolis Raceway Park. This
is the first time we have had the
pleasure of bringing the readers of
Gauge what big diesel power is all
about. Expect to see much more of
this type of coverage in the future.

We wrap up this months show coverage
with the big trucks at the 20th
anniversary of the Lima 4-wheel Jamboree.
Over the years this show has become
mandatory for anyone building a 4x4
to attend. Make sure to check out
this coverage at see what the high
life is all about. For more information

series check out http://www.familyevents.com
Some of you may have noticed that
the site has been a little buggy over
the past month. These bugs are due
to moving to a new server and preparing
to step up the magazine a few more
notches. We are working hard to resolve
all the problems we have encountered
due to this move. Please if you come
across any problems with the magazine
do not hesitate to contact me donnieb@gaugemagazine.com
and let me know where you found problems.
