Throughout the history of Gauge
Magazine we have always put
everything to the side to make
sure that enthusiast world wide
have an awesome place to visit
monthly. On occasion we get
way over our heads in daily
work and a hectic show schedule.
There is really no excuse why
this editorial was late except
that we are just plain slammed.
So I am starting this months
editorial with an apology to
everyone that we left hanging
on this issue.
To start this months issue we
have the lovely Jaclyn
Hubbard making her
second appearance gracing the
cover of Gauge Online Magazine.
That’s right just last April
Jaclyn met up with our staff
at Spring Fling
and stole our hearts with her
stunning beauty and wonderful
attitude. Just click this link
to see her layout from April
of 2004. http://archive.gaugemagazine.com/2004/april/index.htm
With
all the attention on Jaclyn
you don’t want to miss the awesome
1993 Toyota
owned by Mike Reeves.
Mike took this old school toy
and turned it into a total show
stopper. Congratulations Mike…
Your truck is awesome.
Our
next step on feature row this
month brings us to the absolutely
flawless 2000 Chevy
Camaro owned by Dave
Wilson of Cookeville,
TN. Dave has spent countless
hours building this dream car
into a true show vehicle. Dave’s
camaro is also accompanied by
the beautiful Crystal
Powell.
While
at Indy Truck Bash
this year photographer Toby
Mosholder got the opportunity
to catch up with Jonas
Deforrest and capture
his 1998 Chevy S-10
for all of us to admire. Sport
Truck styling, killer stance
and 20 inch wheels left everyone
speechless.

This
months issue offers massive
show coverage. We start
the month in our home town of
Indianapolis, IN
for Import and Truck
Bash. Hands down to
David Figg from Special
Events and the host
club Latest Craze
for keeping this show the best
in the country for 12 years
straight. Get pre-registered
for Truck Bash 2006
today. http://www.importandtruckbash.com
For
the Next Show we stay in Indianapolis
, IN for the GM Small
Car Bash. The history
of this show started like most,
in a small parking lot with
a few GM car forum members getting
together to meet in person.
This year the show moved to
Indianapolis Raceway Park to
offer a day of drag racing and
a killer show field. For info
on the 2006 GM Small
Car Bash contact Tim
Schnelling at the GM Small Car
Web Site. http://www.gmsmallcarbash.com
Now
when it comes to having a good
time in a truck nothing
really compares to a mud bog.
Photographer Toby Mosholder
got the pleasure of shooting
this wild event put on by the
Fletcher Volunteer Fire Dept.
in the Miami County Fairgrounds,
Ohio. Buried to the
doors is a serious
understatement to these guys.
Make sure to check this night
of craziness out. You can get
all the info for next years
event at this link. http://www.miamicountyfair.org
To
wrap this months coverage up,
we spend the weekend with staff
photographer Erod at the XMZ
Car/Truck/Bike Show and Dyno
Challenge. “The Weekend
with Teckademics” This show
is the ultimate for all enthusiasts.
One full day at the track, then
another full day at the dyno.
Needless to say this is a
horsepower intense weekend.

next month if you have any questions
