Congratulations Matt Petro and the
Project S-10 Air Dancer!
As many of you know,Matt has been busting his ass for the last 2 show seasons perfecting his dream of having a total radical air dancer.  Sport Truck Magazine has recognized Matt’s efforts in their latest issue, March 2006. The truck received a cover photo and a 5 page layout. To get an up-close look at this article and many videos of the truck dancing like crazy; visit the official project site at www.projects10airdancer.com

It has been a great road…. This month marks the 50th issue that webmaster Chris Wright has produced for all of us to enjoy.  Thank you for all your effort and hard work to make Gauge what it is today. We are all looking forward to the next 50 issues.

On the cover this month we have one of the most radical Mini Vans on the circuit today. Staff photographer Michael McGill had the opportunity to hook up with Kathy and Scott Powers for this exclusive photo shoot at our 2nd annual Slamology Show. Kathy and Scott from Clarksville, TN do not hesitate to put miles on this beauty. They travel from event to event all over the mid-west showing off this radical van and shooting photos for their own web site http://www.cruisinthestreets.com.

Accompanying the Powers mind blowing mini van is the beautiful Gauge Girl Brandi Whitaker. Brandi is an aspiring model from Indianapolis, IN. Make sure to check her interview and get an up close and personal look at Brandi.  If you would like to meet Brandi in person she will be modeling at the Gauge Magazine.com booth at the Indianapolis World of Wheels on Saturday Feb 4, 2006 from 2pm till 9pm.

Rat Rods have always been around, but over the past few years they have became a very popular build theme. Staff photographer Smalls had the opportunity to catch up with Jeff McCowan of Kentucky with his 1951 Chevy Rat Truck at the Indy Truck Bash this past August. This Indiana barn scene was the perfect setting for this cool ass feature.

To wrap up this month’s features we have a one of the cleanest old school Chevy S-10 trucks we have seen in a long time. After seeing this truck at the Ass in the Grass Car Show, staff photographer Toby Mosholder just had to get a feature photo of this beautiful 1983 Chevy S10 for all of us to enjoy. Posing on the truck is the beautiful Brenda Torres from Ohio

Again this month we have a massive issue packed full of show coverage. To start off we visit the Richmond, VA to cover the legendary East Coast Nationals. This show is the national event for everyone on the east coast. Make sure to stay up to date with all the 2006 event info at http://www.eastcoastnationals.com

Next we travel south to North Carolina with staff photographer Smalls for the historic Scr8pfest presented by Pebble Pushers. This event has been around for over 8 years. This is a true Mini Truck show produced by Mini Truckers. For more info on Pebble Pushers and Scr8pfest visit http://www.pebblepushers.com

Our next show is the New Palestine, Indiana Independence Day show. Local show promoter Merrick Reynolds spent this Saturday snapping photos of this great one day event. Stay tuned to the gauge magazine.com event calendar for info on the 2006 event. http://archive.gaugemagazine.com/eventcalendar

Staff Photographer Jason Peckovitch finished this months coverage up with 2 massive show features. First is the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, NV. For anyone that does not know; CES is the largest electronic convention in the world. The caliper of vehicles at this event is tremendous. For info on the 2007 CES show visit www.cesweb.org
