Every
month since the beginning of
Gauge Online Magazine we have
strived to get every issue up
at the first of the Month.
Until this month I believe we
had only dropped the ball a
few times due to uncontrollable
circumstances. But this month
we couldn't resist holding off
just a few extra days so we
could bring you coverage from
our 3rd annual
Slamology Car Truck and Music
Festival. We would
like to thank everyone that
came out in the unseasonable
weather to experience Slamology
and show their support. Make
sure to stop by the official
web site for the show for all
the details on our 2007 event.

On
the cover this month we feature
Trent VanArsdalen’s
radical 2005 GMC Canyon.
Trent is a very talented truck
builder and upholstery shop
owner from Baltimore, Ohio.
Being on the cover of Gauge
is nothing new to Trent. Just
last year his Project Coloradical
was featured on the cover.
Make sure to check out last
year’s truck and compare the
two beauties side by side. gaugemagazine.com/2005/april/index.htm
Also
don’t forget to stop by Trent’s
shop web site at www.trentstrickupholstery.com
To brighten up our cover with
Trent’s immaculate truck, we
have the beautiful Tasha
Cornett. Tasha is a
bartender in Dayton, Ohio and
attends shows on a regular basis.
Make sure to get an up close
and personal look at her in
her gauge girl layout.
This past year at Southern
Showdown Staff Photographer
Toby Mosholder had the pleasure
of catching up with Billy
Purdue and his 1987
Mazda B2000. This truck
is so hot it is on Fire… Make
sure to check out how Billy
makes this Mazda Stand out from
the crowd and come in first
place on show day.
When it comes to 4x4 vehicles
the Toyota pickup has defiantly
made its impression over the
years. Thousands of people have
modified these cool minis to
run with the big trucks. This
is exactly what Cary
Alder has done with
his 1992 Toyota Tacoma.
22” wheels, huge lift and a
killer paint job, Cary has no
problem seeing nor stopping
traffic.
