It’s that time of the year again boys and girls; Santa is coming again and this year he has stopped by Gauge with a huge bag of must-have goodies for under the tree..

This year we have put together a special section of the magazine with the 2007 Christmas Buyers guide. Make sure not to miss these extraordinary priced items, plus for just being a gauge reader you can save an extra 5% by entering discount code Xmas2007 don’t miss out. There prices are only good through 12/20/07.

What a better way to start off the month than with Santa’s dream Machine on the cover. This 1968 Chevy Bel Air Wagon owned by Kevin Jones is totally awe-inspiring. Kevin acquired this spotless beauty and took it to our good friend, Big Mike at Hilltop Industries for the full transformation. After a few hundred hours, Big Mike had installed a full air system, brake upgrade, bumping stereo, huge wheels and a few more goodies. Make sure not to miss out on this extra cool old school transformation.

To help brighten up Kevin’s wagon for the cover, Santa delivered one of his most beautiful little helpers; Jillian Meyer. With just one look at her photos it is easy to see what we all want for Christmas… Make sure not to miss her up close and personal gauge girl interview.

For our first feature this month, with catch up with Staff Photographer Brad Walker at the All Star Event where he shot Bruce Flannagin’s 1986 GMC. Don’t let the solid color paint job fool you; this truck is a total custom. Tube frame, massive stock floor body drop and custom interior really separates this old school from the crowd.

To wrap up features this month Staff Photographer Randall Reynolds spent the day with Jeffery Sasser and his 2006 Scion XB RS3. The scion XB is one of the most customized vehicles of all times. It is very hard to stand out from the crowd. Jeffery has definitely stepped up to this challenge with this trophy winning XB.

To start off show coverage this month we have the 2008 Super Report for the annual SEMA convention in Las Vegas, NV. Since the start of Gauge Magazine back in 1999 our staff has covered this event. It is amazing to see how the show grows larger and larger each year. This year Staff Photographers, Smalls, Dustin Naylor, Vincent Pelfey and Rob Snodgrass took on this show full steam. From day one of the show, their priority was to bring back the best SEMA coverage on the web.

Just like in years past; we have separated this enormous show coverage up into several sections to make the coverage easier to navigate:
SEMA Show Coverage (everything from mild to wild)
The Hotties of SEMA (the most beautiful ladies of the SEMA Show)
Celebrities of SEMA (SEMA has become a social magnet for Celeberties)

Along with the SEMA show comes some of the hottest after parties to hit Las Vegas. Annually we have had the pleasure of hooking up with our friends at Kicker Car Audio to cover the extraordinary Big Air Bash. For 2007, Kicker brought the perfect blend of Las Vegas with the flying Motorcycle riders jumping high above the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Make sure to check out this coverage; it is a for sure not to miss. BigAirBash.htm
You can also stay up to date on the 2008 Big Air Bash by visiting www.kicker.com

For the past few years the largest post SEMA event has been the Friday Night Hard Rock Hotel After SEMA Car Show. If you are one of the lucky ones to get out of the SEMA show on time to make registration, you are in for a true west coast show. This year’s show was typical Las Vegas… Non Stop!! SEMAHardRock.htm
To wrap up show coverage this month we stay on the west coast with Cheri, Chromey and James for the 31st annual Getting it All Together Show in Lake Elsinore, CA on October 19-21, 2007. For the 31st annual show the weather was great and the crowd was huge… Make sure not to miss this feature for a true west coast tradition. GIAT31.htm
