Variety
When Donnie and I sat down at the strip club knocking down some tall ones and was talking about me becoming the editor of Gauge Magazine, the one thing that I thought would help expand the magazine was variety. So we agreed on some terms, tucked a few dollars and the rest is history.

Variety of vehicles. We were all raised by our fathers and others to like what we like. I myself was raised on street rods and off-road vehicles. Living the 15 years of my life in Arizona had me playing in sand rails and 4 X 4’s. But I had several friends who had hard bodies with reversed 15 X 10 KMC with Euro TA’s, whale tails, drip paint jobs and triple windshield wipers. I enjoy all makes and models of custom rides. For me a vehicle is just a blank canvas and everyone paints a different picture.  So spread the word, Gauge Magazine will always feature some of the wildest Sport Trucks, Mini Trucks and Imports around but will be increase the coverage of all forms of custom rides out there.

Variety doesn’t just hold true on the vehicles that grace the pages of Gauge Magazine.  This will be true with the ladies that appear on the covers and features though out the issues. Like our rides we all like something different. There are so many options when it comes to women: blonde, brunette, redhead, skinny, tone, thick, short hair, long hair, white, black, brown, tatted, pierced, etc, etc.  We know we can’t make everyone happy with our choice of females and vehicles that we chose for the cover. Just remember variety keeps things interesting.

This month the beautiful and luscious Fantasy graces our cover with Scott Wiley-Koehns’ 63 Chevrolet Impala SS complete with air ride. This deadly combination is bound to turn some heads. Also in this month’s issue you find a clean extended cab Ranger with the lovely Jessica Massacre, a radical Honda Civic and a standard cab Ranger layin rockers shot by the one and only Randall Reynolds. Show coverage this month includes Cruisefest Nationals, Forbidden Fantasy Show, Slammin and Jammin, Lake Front tour and the West Coast Customs Season Premium event out in Hollywood where are west coast photographer Cheri hung out with Wee Man and the WCC crew.

Until next month, , lay some kandy, blow your ear drums and tuck some dollars.
