SUMMER HEAT

This summer has been one of the hottest that I can remember. Week after week the temperature has been outrageous, especially here in the Midwest with the humidity. I lived out in Arizona for about 16 years and here in Indiana for about the same. Both are hot as hell, one is dry and when you take a deep breath it hurts your lungs, while the other is humid and wet and causes your nut sack to stick to your leg. So where is the best place to live? Who knows, we all could give pros and cons to the answer of that question. What I do know is there are great shows in all regions of the United States and across the world, and we are here to cover them all.  Well, at least as many of them as we can.

We have a great issue for the month of August.
On the cover we have Scott Lewis Young’s 65 Mercury M-100 with the beautiful Gauge Girl Genevieve Marie Hartman.
For features we start with Cody Paulus’ 2-tone 89 Ext cab Mazda B2200 with model Lexi Kate.
Next we follow up with Ben Shelton’s stunning 2000 GMC Jimmy.
Last but not least, photographer Brad Walker shot Jason and Amanda Livingston’s 65 Cadillac Sedan Deville sporting a nasty ass Cummins motor. You heard me, check it out for yourself.

Shows in this issue include Cavalcade of Customs in Cincinnati, Ohio covered by Dan Moermond. Then down to Nashville where Brad Walker shot the Good-Guys Nashville Nationals at the Titan Stadium. Back up to the Hoosier state, BLT was at the World of Wheels in Indianapolis featuring the Gauge Magazine.com Lifestyle section. Then it’s off to the West Coast where Cheri got some coverage of the All Out Fabrication and Audio open house in California. Then we head back to the South where Chris and Ohio Dan catch the return of a legendary show better known as Showfest in Mississippi. And finally we’re back to the Westside where Cheri made a stop in Arizona for the Art of Noize show.
