What’s up with the weather?
May was a crazy month for shows. The first half of the month was rain and cold, while the second half of the month it rained and was hot as hell. All the shows we have covered this far has had some rain or a lot of rain. I hope Mother Nature can mellow out a bit so we can leave our rain coats at home.
June is a great month when it comes to shows. This month we cover shows like Vanfest in Canada, SOL in Missouri, Scrapin the Coast in Mississippi, Backyard Bash in Connecticut and of course Slamology in Indianapolis. Pre-Registration is open till June 7th for Slamology so get online and save $20 at www.Slamology.com. Since we are talking about Slamology go check out the website there are more than 20 bands and Djs playing throughout the weekend. The specialty awards are billet aluminum and the Best of Show is Championship belt that is one of a kind. Plus there is huge slip n slide, hydraulic expo, skateboard expo, bikini contest and so much more.
Normally our covers have a feature vehicle accompanying our lovely Gauge Girl. This month we chose to go with a little different cover. We shot this month’s Gauge Girl Nicki Lynn at a mystery builder’s garage somewhere in Indiana! There are 3 future features within the walls, starting with a standard cab Toyota, a extended cab Mazda and a 68 Chevrolet C-10.
Features this month include Zachary Locks Ext Cab S-10 courtesy of photographer BLT, a classy C-10 shot by Brad Walker and 2 features captured by Randall Reynolds that include a 63 International Scout and a 2000 S-10.
Shows start out with Layd Out in the Park covered by the Southern Trio Smalls, Randall and Costa. Followed up by Motorama from new comer Mike Butry, Getting it all Together out on the West Coast where photographer Cheri was behind the lens, Randall made it to the last stop of the Winter Cruise tour in North Carolina, the Kaotic Kustoms crew send us coverage of Kaoticfest and last but not least Jason shoot Rise n Shine in Colorado.
Until next month, don’t forget to pre-reg for Slamology, reserve a hotel for Slamology, see you at Slamology and lastly if you need directions to a gentleman’s club, I might be able to help.
